Follow my blog with Bloglovin
I am a little bit behind reading the blogs I follow in blogger. So today I decided that I would take the time and catch up. I found out that reader will be passing away in July. So I decided that I would change over to bloglovin'. I do love to read blogs and get ideas for my home, so I need a place where I can keep a log of the blogs that I follow.

Weightloss Wednesday!!!
Another week has gone by. Sorry about how late this is, but yesterday got away from me. My husband and I were trying to figure out if we should go to California in May with his parents. The answer at the end of the day ended up to be no. We have loans that need to be paid off, which should be done in July of this year if we don't over spend. Here is hoping that I can use some of my money to keep it going.
Here are the stats for this week:
Weight: 173.6 (+.8)
Waist: 34" (0)
Hips: 40" (0)
Thighs: 24" (0)
Biceps: 12" (0)
Chest: 35" (0)
This week what can I say. My kids decided that we needed a pizza party complete with Root Beer floats. I sent my wonderful husband to buy the supplies, and he bought a little too much. I had a float, sometimes 2, every day for 4 days. It was good, but unfortunately it did not show up on the scale. I also decided that since I was going to the dentist at dinnertime so we had cafe rio for lunch. That didn't help that much either.
My goals last week were:
1. Track food Everyday-Completed
2. Exercise 4 days a week-completed
3. No Store bought baked goods.-Completed
I finally was able to complete all of my goals for a week. YES!!!!! So now I am going to just try to keep up the good work for awhile. I need to keep everything normal and just get in the habit of doing these things before I add something else on. I do get to bake something, but I think I will just pass and try to wait for Easter. The holiday of candy and ham. Ham and potatoes sound really good right now. Here are the goals for this week:
1. Track Food Everyday
2. Exercise 4 days a Week
3. No Store Bought Baked Goods
So, do you make goals?

Weightloss Wednesday!!
Sorry about how late this post is. My Wednesdays really get away from me sometimes. This week I was really busy. I had a basketball tournament where I officiated 3 days and I still got in my workouts on top of that. I came to the conclusion that I need a break during the week from working out just to get some things done around the house. Here are my stats:
Weight: 172.8 (-.6)
Waist: 34.5" (-.5)
Hips: 40" (0)
Thighs: 24" (0)
Chest: 35" (-1)
Biceps" 12" (0)
I was surprised when I saw that I lost weight. I went out to Cafe Rio on Thursday and on Saturday I went out to all you can eat Chinese Food. Not the best of choices. I also for some reason was really hungry yesterday and ate more food than I needed to. But luckily yesterday I did not eat any baked goods. I even went grocery shopping yesterday and didn't buy the food that I was craving. Go Me!!!
As for goals :
1. Track Food Everyday-Completed
2. Exercise 6 days- Only did 5, didn't feel like it yesterday
3. No Store bought baked goods-Completed.
So again this week I do not get to make me a baked good. Part of me wants to because I only missed one day of exercise, but that is not point. I need to make sure that I follow the rules to get my reward. Life is pretty good. On to next week goals

Weightloss Wednesday
Sorry I didn't get this written this morning. It is kind of hard to do when I go to the gym at 9:30. Today after the gym I had to do a little shopping. My two oldest get home from school at 12:30, so my day goes pretty fast on Wednesdays. Here are my measurements
Weight 173.4 (-.6)
Waist: 35" (-1)
Hips: 40" (-1)
Thighs: 24" (-1)
Biceps: 12" (0)
Chest: 36" (-1)
I am pretty happy with how well this week has gone. At the beginning of the week I ate food that I really shouldn't have, but I recorded it, so I was on track with that goal. As the week went on I started to make better choices. Like on Saturday I had a 2 hour break before my next basketball games and I thought that I would go and get some cafe rio. Well while I was in line to order I talked myself out of getting that food and went and had a McDonald's smoothie instead. I was so proud of myself for that. I also refrained from buying a doughnut this morning while I was buying some groceries.
Let's look at if I accomplished my goals for this week.
1. Track food everyday-COMPLETED
2. Exercise 6 days-COMPLETED
3. Wear Zaggora pants.-NOT EVEN ONCE
Well I accomplished two out of three. As the song says: 2 out of 3 ain't bad. The Zaggora pants was hard to find time to wear them. I like to wear them when I am active. I don't like to wear them when I workout, but if I am cleaning the house I love to wear them. Looks like no baked good for me this week. Hopes it helps with more weight loss. So here are my goals for this week.
1. Track food everyday
2. Exercise 6 days
3. No Store bought baked goods.
I think these are achievable. I didn't put down the Zaggora pants, because I don't see me wearing them. Why set myself up for disappointment, again.

Craft Room Reveal
I had thought that I would take time and post about everything that I have made for my craft room, but today I thought that I would just reveal the whole thing because all of the other posts would just be a couple of pictures with me rambling on about how I made it. I thought that might be a little boring so I just decided to put it all together at once so that if it is boring it is in all in one place.

I will start with what I like to call my crafting corner. It has my counter height table, which I posted about here. It also has my chair that I just made and posted about here. It also has some shelves that I made. I used some boards and put some molding in front to make it look beautiful. The shelves are attached to all 3 of the walls so they are nice and sturdy.
I also have my TV on one of the walls in this corner so that I can have noise while I craft. It is a weird thing. I have to have some kind of noise while I am doing something else. It has to be something that I have already watched so the I don't have to pay too much attention to the movie or show.
To go along with the shelves I made for my little crafting corner I made some shelves for above my desk. I made these shelves the same way as the other ones. The only difference is that it is attached to the wall with a tiny bracket where there is not a wall.
It is nice to have not have my printer have to be on my desk and take up space. Also. It is nice to have my silhouette in a place where I can put it up and down without having to unpack it like I used to do.
Under my hanging shelves I put my desk. It used to be directly under the shelves, but I needed a change so I turned the desk to be on a the east wall in my room. It is a bit to get used to. I do love my desk. I painted it the faitn yellow that I found. I found a pattern for the drawers for the desk here. I did wanted to have a lot of small drawers to hold some of my paper, pens, pencils, and scissors. So I changed the plans for the drawers on the right side of the desk.
Above my old desk I used to have some pin boards and I knew that I wanted something similar to display things that I need to remember, sayings, and other things that I want to hang. So I came across this post and I knew that it is exactly what I wanted. I went out to fabric stores in Salt lake and I found 3 fabrics that I thought matched as best as I could. I then hung them above my desk.
The last couple of things that I added to my craft room was a word and a clock. I found a clock over a year ago while window shopping at my local DI. I thought it looked wonderful and hoped that it still worked. I brought it home and put in a new battery and it worked. I was elated. I put in a piece of paper that matched the color scheme and hung it on the wall. I then thought that it needed something. I have thought that I would put the word CREATE on the wall. so as to hopefully inspire me to create whenever I looked at the wall. I bought the letters at Hobby Lobby and since they were already painted white all I had to do was to cut out the letters in the paper and glued them on. I then attached them to the wall.
I love my new space. I do have to share it with the washer and dryer, but that just means that I won't forget to change or fold my laundry because it is always there staring me in the face.
See you soon!!

Craft Room Rug
When I started to trying to figure out what I wanted to paint my room I knew that I wanted grey. I then had to decided what accent color I wanted. I debate for quite a long time. It was while I was shopping at Ikea that I finally figured out it out. There was a display for outdoor summer cushions and the colors were black, grey, yellow and I think maybe white. I saw that the grey was what the color that I chose. I knew that I wanted the picture frames to be black and then I saw the yellow. It was bright and seemed to bring a bit of brightness to the dull of the other colors. I knew that I had found my accent color. So I bought one cushion of each color so that I would be able to match fabric and paint.

After my craft room was completed I had 6 cushions laying around. The reason for 6 is because once while I was shopping in Salt Lake I had left the cushions at home so I went and bought 3 more. so I had to think of what to make to use these cushions. It was only a couple of weeks ago that I finally figured out that I was going to make a rug for in front of my washer and dryer.
So I got out my sewing machine and off I went. I noticed quickly that the cushions were too thick for my sewing machine so I decided to try out my Stitch Witchery and bonded them together. It worked enough so that they stuck together, but it was really easy to tear apart. So I had to sew them together by hand so that they would stand up to being played with by my 3 boys. I happy pretty happy with how they turned out. It is nice to have something with a little padding to stand on while I switch my laundry.2013 Goals
Well last year I made goals for what I wanted to do throughout the year and let's say that I didn't complete a lot of them. Time just got away and I didn't look at the list to try and complete them. Well this year I am going to come up with just one goal in some categories and once I achieve those goals then I will add another, or if I have done the goal for a month then I will add another. Keeping it simpler is always worked better for me. So here are my goals for 2013:
Spiritual
Spiritual
- Read the D&C
Family
- Start a Family Game Night
Personal
- Exercise 6 days a week, 3 at gym and 3 at home
